What acceleration finds
Speed is only useful where work can move. If a decision requires four functions to agree, and those four functions do not share a definition of the problem, faster analysis produces four faster interpretations. The meeting still happens. It just arrives with better slides.
What to examine instead
Look for waiting, rework, escalation, and duplicate verification. These are not cultural symptoms. They are observable costs, and they can be counted. Where they cluster, you have found a seam that cannot carry the speed you are trying to buy.
The work of the next few years is not choosing tools. It is deciding whether the organization around them can carry what they produce.
